This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi there,

A quick question of which I can kind of see not working however...

Can I used this kind of shortcode on a page where a view exists, but use this in a text editor?

[wpv-items-count] places found

The reason I would like this is for it to be part of a title in a text area rather than within the grid the view is producing on a page.

Worth an ask.

Unfortunately no, based on the documentation below this shortcode can only be used inside a view.
