[Resolved] Shoptimizer Theme Templates

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I want to use the Theme Templates from WooCommerce Shoptimizer Theme from Commercegurus with Custom Post Type.
But it dont works. I cant choose as i can do when i use a normal page.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Thank you for getting in touch.

I'm assuming that your Theme Templates are only meant to work for Woocommerce and the default post types. If such is the case then you will need to contact your theme author for them to add support for custom post types.

Hmm i am weird cause if i use generatepress it works.
And the Theme Author says first i had to contact u.

Hi Christoph,

This is because generatepress supports templating of custom post types. This feature has to come from the theme as custom post types don't come with their own templating structure, this is generally provided by the theme.

Some themes do offer templating for custom post types where you can select the different layout styles such as Full Width, Left Sidebar, Right Sidebar etc

So this is not something that can be implemented from our side.
