I have a 4 column view for the standard news posts of my website, and when it goes to the standard category page (category.php) I want it to use the same 3 column view (gutenburg block version) I have created for the page. How do I go about doing this? I have gone through the website and seen how I can create my own custom archives etc, however I have not been able to find any documentation on how I can implement the view on the category archive.
Please could you tell me how I go about doing this, or point me in the direction of some instructions.

OK so for anyone else interested I managed to figure this out using Chat GPT of all things.
Basically you have to create a content template, and within that contnt template you add your view.
filter query needs to be set to the "categories the same as the archive page it is on".
Then add this shortcode to your category.php page, replacing the content-template-slug:
