Thank you for getting in touch. Yes it is possible to set a content template for a Woocommerce product of a specific category, however you must be running the latest version of our Toolset Blocks/Views plugin and be using the Block editor for the content template.
When you select the Product Post Type there is a conditional option that you can set. See Screenshot
In my screenshot you will see me selecting the Posts and then below you will see category, uncategorized. This will only apply the content template to posts that are created with the Uncategorized category added.
Hi,
Sorry .. I've come across an additional question.
I use WPBakery page builder for my views. Is it possible to use this with blocks and have the conditional settings you mentioned in your first reply?
Hi Shane,
Thanks for letting me know. That's a shame. Are there any plans to make it compatible with other page builders? Or any other way to do the conditional applying of different content templates?
Is one workaround to paste the raw code with WPBakery builder shortcodes into the Gutenburg editor and maybe the page layout will be the same?

Currently the editors require the use of the Classic editor. If the editor themselves don't work with the gutenburg editor then not much we can do in terms of compatibility. They are already compatible with the Classic editor that our Content template provides. Unfortunately some features will only work when using the Gutenburg editor to build out your content template.

This could help but the main problem would be the wrapper divs for the gutenburg editor may interfere with WPBakery Builder's css structure.
Hi Shane,
I think it's safe to resolve this issue now as it's being covered by the other one you've just escalated.
But a quick question please, now that I've moved over to the 'Toolset Blocks' plugin from the 'Toolset Views' plugin. Where have the views gone? I can't seem to find the views I've created. I can see the content templates that these views are using, no problem, but I need to adjust a few settings on the views ... they are no where to be found? I've also looked for a menu item called Blocks in case they've been moved to there ... but again I can't find anything.
So, maybe it works differently with Blocks. Please can you point me in the direction of my old views so I can adjust their settings.
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings-> General, in section "Editing experience", enable option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build".
