I would like to display a form that has a checkbox already checked by default. The checkbox is a custom field within a custom post type.

I do *not* want the checkbox to be checked by default when the post is originally created. This is an "edit post type" form. I would need to set the checkbox as "checked by default" just for this form.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

The only place that you can have such feature is inside the fields options in Toolset > Fields which will cause the default checkbox for all scenarios.

For the Edit form I might be able to suggest a jQuery code if you share the link of the edit form and the checkbox that you want to be checked.

Thanks.
