[Resolved] seo url structure with full taxnomies

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

following up .

i need the url format to be in full taxnomies format

currently

cpt/maintaxonomy/listing-name BUT i need cpt/maintaxonomy/subcategories/listing-name

i know this is straightforward and i might be missing some adjustment .

If we discussed this I don't remember.

Where does your cpt/maintaxonomy/listing-name URL structure come from?

Taxonomies don't appear in URLs for posts (which is what I assume you mean by listing-name). With standard posts you can add %category% in the permalink structure, but not with custom post types and taxonomies, for which you need a custom rewrite solution.

So, before going any further in looking into how to make this work with sub-categories, can you describe your current solution?

Sorry, you'll need to spell out what your are asking for because I'm not sure from your question.

Does this relate to the custom shortcode for outputting details of the current taxonomy term from the other thread?

hidden link is the URL for taxonomy archive for the services term of the dir taxonomy.

What should I be doing with that information?
