We've created a post type and we noticed an issue about SEO. For this kind of page we don't have a correct tag because search engine retrieve footer data and not meta description.
In which way we can solve this issue?
Thanks
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Can you please share example page/post and tell me what exactly the error and what you want to resolve please. Toolset should have effect on post boy (content) area, Toolset does not control the header or footers. Though if you can share all required information let us check if we can do anything in this case.
When I checked the source code of the above page I can see al the related meta tags are added to the head section using the plugin you are using All in One SEO Pro 4.1.8.
Toolset do not interfere in head section and its your SEO plugin job to add meta tags correctly and it seem it does. You will require to check with your SEO plugin support why on "immobili" page its displaying the footer information.
All in One Seo plugin works correctly on all pages.
Only on Toolset pages the SEO plugin doesn't work correctly.
If I open a ticket to AIO SEO support, probably they will notice me that their plugin works correctly.
Please I need urgent support about this issue
Thanks
Examining the page source from the link from your screenshots where the search engine summary is showing content from the footer, i.e. hidden link, the seo meta tags are present and correct in the document head.
I don't know why Google is not displaying the expected description, but I tested the page in several SEO meta tag analysis websites and each of them showed the correct summary for the page, not what Google shows.
You can try the same yourself:
hidden link hidden link hidden link
You suggest that this is only a problem on Toolset pages, but when I performed a search the results showed two pages with incorrect descriptions, and neither page uses Toolset as far as I can tell from visiting the links and examining the page source. See the screenshot.
So, it does appear that you have an SEO problem on your site, but it is not obviously related to Toolset in any way I can see (which is not surprising, because Toolset is not involved in adding or modifying SEO meta tags).
I think Minesh is correct to suggest you contact the SEO plugin authors for help, because they are presumably experts in SEO.
If they tell you that there is a problem originating from Toolset plugins, then we will be very happy to look into this further and try to help you fix the problem.
