[Resolved] Send email notification using page custom field

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The problem here is that the customer's CRED notifications were not working.

Solution:
Sometimes issues like these are caused by the mail server not working for your website.

The simplest way to get around this is by using the WP SMTP plugin which should cause your mails to start working again.

Hi Shane,

Yes I've checked the Spam folders, nothing in there I'm afraid.

When I create a post with my administrator email, the email notification is received.

Shane,

It's worth mentioning that no notifications are working to external email addresses, e.g. new user accounts etc...

Hi Martin,

When you say no mails, does that mean if a new user is created through wordpress default backend then no mail is sent about the creation ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thank you for your assisstance with this. It looks like the mail wasnt being recieved by my webmail even in spam.
Ive installed a plugin called WP SMTP which allows the notifications to be sent via SMTP rather than wordpress default.
