[Resolved] Selectbox multiple select and group of tags

In the new block-version - when set up a custom filter i have give my content templat a free-text search and a select that contins tags of the custom post that is shows up in the result.
So far so good.
When i set the field typ to checkboxes i can selext multiple and the filter is searching/filtering och thouse tags. So far so good 🙂

1.
My first question is. Can i put those checkboxes in a dropdown and they still will work
maybe the fieldtyp select can contain checkboxes ?
I have been looking at this hidden link as a possible solution but havent tried it yet.

2.
Can i group the options/checkboxes in a heiraki ?
eg:
Tag group 1
- tag1
- tag2
- tag3
Tag group 2
- tag 4
- tag 5
- tag 6
...etc...

You can put them in a select dropdown by using the Field Settings option in your screenshot. However if you set it to a select dropdown the user will only be able to select 1 value at a time. You will need to use the multiselect option to retain similar properties like the checkboxes.

Unfortunately no you're not able to do this.
