Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have a page which lists me all the works saved in the database (-> list.jpg)
in that page I can, along others choose the artist to get the list of his works.

I have a page of the artist with a link to his works (-> startpoint_with_link_to_woks_of_that_artist.jpg)

Is there a possibility to link to the page "hidden link" with the seeded artist (aimpoint_of_link_to_woks_of_that_artist.jpg)

In extensis: how can I change the page (see line before) into another that arrives with the artist's name seeded into the request of the page dinamically from the "startpoint_with_link_to_woks_of_that_artist"

Is there any documentation that you are following?

I would be delighted to be pointed at related documentation

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Its still not clear what exactly you want and where user will click.

Can you please share problem URL on what page you want user the button or link to click and what page you would like to link to?

At second glance I realized that I have a tag on the artist -> so I limited the list to a tag (perfect as offers a drop-down list)

I would be very grateful should you be able to indicate how I could extract the year out of the opening date field the record of database has.

Meanwhile I solved the "year" restriction adding a field "year" to the database.

Would it be too much/difficult to indicate howto extract the year out of the date (date-field in the database) you may close the thread .

Can you please tell me on what page you are displaying the opening date and send me admin access details.

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
