Has there been any update on this issue? https://toolset.com/forums/topic/custom-search-with-taxonomy-view/ I have a taxonomy view and need a way for users to search though some custom fields I made for the taxonomy. Please tell me this simple request has finally been resolved, and if so, how?

Thanks, Mike

Can you tell me of a way to do it that I could give a programmer to do? Just guidelines. Or any plugin I can install that would do this? It's very important.

Hi Mike,

What they would need to do is to setup the filters on the taxonomy view to filter by url parameters and then manually pass those parameters to the taxonomy using a form.
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/views/passing-arguments-to-views/

The above should provide some information on how to achieve this.

Thanks,
Shane
