I am trying to: show the views filter with the WP view filter widget inside a widget cell from layouts (Exakt same look with the layout from classifieds demo)-

1. I created a custom search view with one filter element.
2. Create a layout with a single widget cell.
3. Want to choose the custom search view from the drop-down box. Unfortunately just my other two (prviously created custom views are displayed). The one created before is missing.
(please see screenshots).

The custom search view works fine if i use it with shortcode within an single page.

How can i debug this? What i am doing wrong?

Read some threads in the forum and documents like https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-page-filters/

Thanks a lot for any assistance.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can I see on your install? Have you refresh your layout once you created the view?

Could you please send me debug information that will help us to investigate your issue.

The view was not displaying because the WP Views Filter displays just the form of a View, and it assumes results can be on another page. So to properly post the form, you do need a Submit button with your filter.

I've added submit button to your filter section and if you can check now the view will be available for selection under WP views Filter widget.

ok thank you so much. Great, i am happy.
But believe me i tried this with an submit button more than once.
Finally i thougt in due to the message "you do not need a submit in this form" no submit button would be necessary.
Anyway, great job, thumbs up. Thanks Minesh.
