[Resolved] Search this location (toolset maps)

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to do a search based on the visible location on their google maps.

Solution:

Its not possible to do the search based on the visible location in the map. Rather it will search all the area.

However there is a location functionality where you can specify to get the results within 5 mile of X location.

If you go to your filters and add a filter for location you should see this.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

i was wondering if it was possible to have a "search this location" button above the map, so when i move the map i can then click the button to search the new location the map is showing.

Ive seen several forum topics about map refreshing but I want to create a button that would search based on the map view.

Ive linked the site below please let me know if what i have created is correct ?

What is the link to your site?

Hi James,

So far what you have done is correct, however its not possible to do the search based on the visible location in the map. Rather it will search all the area.

However there is a location functionality where you can specify to get the results within 5 mile of X location.

If you go to your filters and add a filter for location you should see this.

Thanks,
Shane
