[Resolved] Search results sometimes display incorrectly aligned.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the customer's divi builder search results were being misaligned at random intervals.

Solution:

Unfortunately this issue seems to have fixed itself and might have been attributed to caching or plugin conflict. What i recommend is to try to disable the non toolset plugins and check again.

I am trying to: display the search results in a consistent format

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: all correctly aligned

Instead, I got: some results are aligned to the right

Hi Brendan,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I tried taking a look at the site but it seems that the credentials don't work.

Could you check on them for me?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Brendan,

Thanks for checking for me.

I took another look at the site and noticed that all the items are aligned correctly.

Were you able to resolve the issue ?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

That is the problem it does it randomly, sometimes it is OK and then other times it is not aligned. Try hitting the reset button at the top of the directory to see if you get the problem.

Thanks,
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

Yes i'm able to see the issue again as you mentioned.
The correct class that they should be getting for div's is

et_pb_row et_pb_row_8 et_pb_row_1-4_1-4_1-2

However the odd ones are getting the div

et_pb_row et_pb_row_3 et_pb_row_1-4_1-4_1-2

Could you try removing the divi template and remake it and see if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

I rebuilt the template and it worked fine as everything was aligned. Then I hit the reset and it wet out of line again.

Brendan

Hi Brendan,

I would like to ensure that this isn't being caused by a plugin conflict.

Would you mind temporarily disable all the non toolset plugins to ensure that there isn't a conflict.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

I disabled every plugin and child theme one by one and the same result appears. Every time the directory results display correctly the first time. Then when you do a search or reset or even refresh the page some of the results display out of line.

Brendan

Hi Brendan,

I'm actually not experiencing this issue on the local server.

Does your live server have any form of caching ? If so could you please disable it and try again ?

Multiple refreshing on my end doesn't replicate either.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,
I not sure why it has stopped being a problem. The results are correctly aligned now, so let's leave it for the moment. If it happens again I will contact you.
Thanks,
Brendan
