I have created taxonomies and also a new user role.
When I use the taxonomy as flat in the custom form, then when I search for a keyword, all the content is displayed, pages and posts. If I search with admin, then only the keywords that are also in the taxonomy are displayed. But the same thing happens with the default tag taxonomy.
Do I still need to change permissions? If so, where?
Can I clarify what you are asking to make sure I understand the issue.
You have a user with a custom role, and you have an admin user.
When you visit a front-end form that includes a flat taxonomy (or built-in tags), when you start to type a tag there is an auto-suggestion for pre-existing terms to complete.
And the problem is that, when you visit as an admin only pre-existing tags (or terms of your custom taxonomy) are offered as suggestions.
But if you visit with the custom role, the auto-suggestions includes things which are not terms/tags (e.g. posts).
Have I understood correctly?
What is your custom role based upon? Did you create it using Access by copying an existing role and then modifying it?
Do you experience the same problem with any other default roles?
Hello Nigel,
thank you very much for your message. Yes, you got it right.
The phenomenon also occurs with the Editor or Contributor role.
I have recreated the new role using Access. However, since the problem also occurs with the other standard roles, it is probably not the role, but the form.

Would you please make sure that you use the latest version of the Toolset plugins?
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for updates" button.
- Update Toolset and its addons there.
If the problem persists, would you please replicate the issue on the clean installation below to see if it is happening there too?
