It seems that all of the search filters on the full search page (hidden link) have stopped working and is not filtering the posts accordingly.

I am seeing the same problems in the archives too - main topics at (hidden link) and sub topics at (hidden link)

I am unable to pinpoint why the search filters are no longer working correctly

Hi Lisa,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Could you let me know when did this issue started to occur?

Also I noticed that you have quite a number of plugins installed.

Would you mind temporarily disabling all the non-toolset plugins and trying again to see if this resolves the issue ?

Thanks,
Shane

None of the plugins are the issue. I've already gone through them and disabled them all except for toolset and wp bakery page builder. Last time I checked the functionality of this search would be about two weeks ago and it was fine then. I have not added any new plugins in that time frame.

Hi Lisa,

I tried to log into you site but it seems that the credentials don't work anymore.

Could you check on this for me and let me know?

Thanks,
Shane

I will have to give you new credentials. I do not know why it is not working anymore. I do not know how to set a private message or to edit the previous private message

try again with the original credentials, it is working.

Hi Lisa,

I was able to log in and see the issue.

What I recommend that you do is to remove all your filters and re-add them back to the search because the URL parameter that they should be using do not match up to what the query filter is looking for.

Removing and re-adding them should fix this issue for you.

Thanks,
Shane

No, removing and re-adding did not resolve the issue. None of the search filters on all three pages mentioned above are working.

Hi Lisa,

I logged in and removed the filter and re-add them back and it works.

I removed them for all the searches you sent and re-add them again.

The search should now be working now.

Please try and let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Interesting...

Still a strange problem - when a search filter is chosen - the pagination does not change.

for example --- this page: hidden link

you see it will show two pages

if you choose Accessibility, which is only one item, the pagination still shows at the bottom. Clicking on it will bring back to the main page with all filters reset.

Hi Lisa,

So the issue here is that your theme is adding its own pagination to the archive.

You can hide it by adding this css to your custom archive.

.navigation{
display: none;
}

Then you can re-add the pagination for your posts by using the Pagination button in your Custom archive to add a new pagination to the page.

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane
