[Resolved] Search filters not working – page loading prefiltered

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user's view filters are not working.

Solution:

What I recommend that you do is to remove the filters from your view and then re-add them and this should resolve the issue in most cases.

I am trying to:
Should just be showing all the posts, but instead some random "type" is selected on arrival sometimes and the page is pre-filtered.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see: All the resources here

Instead, I got: I could only see program models and see all in the types category...sometimes it works, sometimes it does this.

Hello,

Thank you fro contacting our support forum.

I tried this and the search seems to work fine.

Is there any particular condition under which the search doesn't work

Thanks,
Shane

I think I have maybe found a reliable way to recreate the issue: If you filter the page and then come back to the original URL
hidden link , then the page has the issue with pre-filtering.

Hello,

I'm still unable to replicate.

However in order for the view to be filtered the url must contain the query strings to filter the view. As long as these query strings are not there then the view won't filter.

Thanks,
Shane
