I have created a view to show products from a category and have added a search field (screenshot shows filters). I selected to search the Post Title and Content. The view is located on hidden link.
If you search for the words "Unleashed dog", the video that has these words in the title isn't appearing in the results which seems strange. If i search for the exact title "How to Handle an Unleashed Dog (Video)", it shows "No items found". (If i use the site search, this item can be found). Is there any reason the Toolset Search field isn't finding the posts or setting I missed.
Hi there,
Would you please update Toolset and its addons and see if the issue is still there?
- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Update Toolset and its addons there.
If it is not working after that, check if the search works when you do not use the Ajax pagination.
Thanks.
Everything appears to already be up to date. And pagination was set to no pagination. I ended up switching the "how do you want to update results" to "Full page refresh when visitors click on the search button"
Hi there,
I see that the search works ok without the Ajax pagination.
Would you please test to see if there is a possible conflict with your theme or a third-party plugin?

- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except Toolset and its add-ons.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.
If the problem continues, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.
Make sure you set the next reply as private.
Thanks.
