I am trying to: Load the Products page (hidden link)
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
I expected to see: The page load properly
Instead, I got: a Half loaded page and frozen browser (see attachment) -- page becomes unresponsive. Trying to refresh gives a message that the webpage is not responding. Disabling Toolset causes this issue to go away.
It also may be causing issues for us using iPhone Safari browser but we want to first try to resolve this issue with the admin.
I logged in to your site to see the issue and note that the product listing page in the backend took 12s to completely load in Chrome, and about 1 and a half minutes in Safari.
I can't see anything obvious that accounts for it, I've taken a copy of your site which I'm installing locally to see if the same occurs and to perform some testing.
I performed a lot of testing and couldn't get past the issue.
I did notice an error in the console which only appeared in Safari (a permissions issue).
In the end I deleted both the Types and WooCommerce plugins, and then re-installed each of them.
I then re-tested and the issue disappeared. The product listing page in the backend loaded promptly in Safari, at least as quickly as in the other browsers.
Hi Nigel, I went ahead and deleted both the "WooCommerce" and "Toolset Type" plugins and reinstalled and activated the plugins. The speed issues still remain.
I double-checked just now and the product listing page loads smoothly in Safari on my local test site, but as part of testing I had also disabled all other plugins except for Types and WooCommerce. That on its own had not been enough to improve the situation until I deleted and re-installed Types and WooCommerce.
On your site, can you try de-activating all plugins except for Types and WooCommerce, then check the product listing page again?
If it then loads smoothly then it may be an issue that is triggered in combination with some other plugin. In which case you can try re-activating plugins one-by-one and re-testing to see if it is possible to determine which plugin is required to provoke the problem.
