I am trying to: Get the RSS feed, what worked before I installed the types plugin. I also don't see the posts in this archive.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link respectively the RSS feed url: hidden link

I expected to see: hidden link -> respectively: hidden link

Instead, I got: hidden link -> so I get no RSS feed

Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.

I logged into your website and I can see the issue. The category page and its RSS feed do not return any results when Toolset Types or Toolset Views are active.

I tried this on a clean installation and the issue was not reproducible. You can check this category's page and RSS feed:
- hidden link
- hidden link

You can log into my test site with the following URL hidden link

Because the issue is not reproducible on a clean install, I suspect that another component(theme/plugin) is also contributing to this issue. Please check if this happens when:
- Only Toolset plugins are activated. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with another plugin.
- The theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty-Twenty. It will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme.
If the problem disappears, start activating one at a time to track where the incompatibility is produced.

If the issue is coming from the theme or another plugin, please upload them to my test site to check if this is a general compatibility issue. In that case, I'll escalate it to our developers as a compatibility issue.
If the issue is not reproducible, we can assume that it happens because of an edge case on your website. In that case, I'll need to take a copy of your website and check it locally. Let me know if that's fine with you.

Dear Jamal

Thank You for this kind of clarification. I did before the health troubleshoot - where I used a standard theme. This time it worked.

In the same time I opened a support ticket here, I created a ticket from the Theme developer. They found out, that a plugin I used https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-tags-and-categories-for-pages/ - this might inferred when I installed Toolset types.

My additional question is then - is it enough and working, when I am using the Toolset taxonomies to set for using categories and tags for pages?

Regards,

Simon

Hello Simon, If I understood well, you were using that plugin to use categories and tags in pages too, right?
Yes, this can be done with Toolset too. Edit the Pages post type in Toolset->Post Types, then activate the Categories and Tags taxonomies for it. Check this screenshot hidden link

I believe you have already done it because the settings are already set, and I can't find that plugin in the plugins list. I also checked the category page and its feed and they seem to work as expected.

Let me know if you still need assistance with this.
