I've added a custom "portfolio" field and selected "Allow multiple instances of this field". I then built a view to show the portfolio. I then added the view to a Divi theme builder template, but it doesn't show the content it should.

I recorded this screen recording to make it more clear: hidden link

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please share problem URL and admin access details. I'm not sure why you are using the view to display portfolio images.

Can you please tell me where exactly on what Elementor template you want to display what post portfolio?

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

So first of all we do not recommend to use two page builder at same time. Either you should build the page using the Beaver themer or using Toolset blocks.

If you want to use view inside the beaver themer then you will have to design the view or content template in classic mode (without blocks). As if you combine two page builders sooner or later you will have conflicts and undesirable results. As you will find few features will work without conflict and few not.

But for now, I've added the image slider to the following content template to display the portfolio images:
=> hidden link

And then to your themer template, I've added the content template we build using the text module:
=> hidden link

you are here:
[wpv-post-body view_template="ct-to-display-portfolio-imgs" item="$current_page"]

For now, I've placed the content template at top of the page where you can see it with tet "you are here". I can see its displaying correctly on the frontend:
=> hidden link

You can add the content template and move it to your desired place.

It's Divi, not Beaver 😉 Toolset has a module to add a view on a Divi page, and that works fine. The carrousel at the top of the page is a Toolset view too. But I couldn't get the repeater to work. Your solution does seem to work so thanks.

Can you answer my second question below as well or should I open a seperate topic about that?

I have another question about carrousels. Is it possible to show 5 hairdressers at once, but only slide 1 hairdresser at the time? So you have hairdresser #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5. After 5 seconds, #1 slides to the left (out of view) and #6 comes in to view from the right, but #2, #3, #4 and #5 are still in view as well.

Instead of how it is now: hairdresser #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 are shown, and after 5 seconds, there all slide out of view and hairdresser #6, #7, #8, #9 and #10 are shown.

Sorry, yes, its Divi. I was working on Beaver on another ticket. 🙂

The current image block added to display images works like that, we are display 3 images and when you click on previous and next it will move one at a time but there is no auto-scroll feature available that it should slide automatically after certain number of seconds.

You can file a new feature request using the following form:
