I have a carousel that uses the images from a toolset image field (Allow multiple instances of this field) . It works fine, but when I delete the existing images and replace with new ones the previous ones are still included at the end of the carousel. I've cleared the cache so I cannot figure out why the removed images are still associated with this post and appearing.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
That is really strange.
Can you please tell me what image you removed and share admin access details and what carousel you are using?
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
I am using a Carousel from the Ultimate Add ons for Beaver Builder plugin, and it gets it's images from "Post Attached Images". The smaller images at the end of the carousel are the ones that I deleted from the post, like:
hidden link
When I go to the image gallery it shows that it is still uploaded to this post. So I could simply detach it from the media gallery, but I'd prefer if I did not have to do this every time I remove an image from this toolset image field.
I'm not sure how the Carousel from the Ultimate Add ons for Beaver Builder plugin manages the uploaded images and how they store it. Maybe its cache or something else or it does not able to track the changes you made to custom image field (means when you delete few images) it still displays with the Carousel .
What if you check with Ultimate Add ons for Beaver Builder plugin support and check with them what is the best possible way to deal with this and if Toolset is really the issue we will try to have a loot at it. I hope this makes sense as you are using the Carousel from Ultimate Add ons for Beaver Builder.
