Tell us what you are trying to?
I have created a repeatable field group "attachments" which consists of a "name" and "file" fields. When I try to display them in my content template using a view, on the third step of the view design page it doesn't show me the option to use the specific repeatable field group. Can you please help?
Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-and-displaying-repeatable-field-groups/
Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi there

Can you please make sure that the content template is assigned to the post type to which the repeatable field group belongs, and also make sure that the preview post for the template (the dropdown at the top of the screen) is set to preview using such a post.

If you haven't assigned the content template to the post type, you may need to reload the page after you do.

Hello,

Thank you for the screenshots. Based on what I see everything is setup correctly.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the website so that I can have a more detailed look at this for you ?

Please where applicable please provide me with a link to an example page where I can see the issue.

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello, unfortunately our site is under development and accessed internaly only. What we could do though, is organize a videocall and share our screen. Is that OK?

Hi Vayianos,

Thank you for the duplicator. Unfortunately I was not able to get the RFG to show up when you're creating a block view.

However I did remake the content template and selected the "Dioikitika Eggrafa" Post Type for the content template and saved then refresh.

Once I did this I then added then created a new view and the RFG post type started to show up. Can you test this on your end and let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you very much for the assistance! Indeed that seemed to be the case. When we deleted the content template and recreated it (after having created the repeatable field) it worked fine! However the question still remains: If in the future we decide to create a new repeatable field after, should we delete the content template associated with it and start all over?

Hello,

I suspect that this is a unique scenario given that after the template was remade the issue was no longer replicable. I've tested this multiple times on the duplicate and was not able to replicate the issue.

The only way the issue occurred is when a post type isn't selected for the content template or when a post type that has no RFG is selected. Which in both cases are expected.

Once I assigned the post type with the RFG to content template then the view started to show the RFG post type.

Thanks,
Shane
