Repeatable fields date time sorting?

This support ticket is created 5 years, 11 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have a View showing events with custom field filter on the repeatable date field set to number greater than or equal TODAY()

Sorting is set to the repeatable date field ascending.

The issue is that the Event which has a past date but a date in the future will then be showed as the first even though the next date is say a week later.

There is no way around this. So I need to make each Event as a new post?

So I assume this is the only way to go.
