I have created a Taxonomy.
Within I have created several labels ( or are they tags , not sure what terminology to use )
Now I realised I have created too many labels and some with spelling errors.
These labels show up when I have a search on a view.
I see in the section Labels of the Taxonomy a lot of fields ( see image)
Is it there that I have to fill in the label I want to delete ?
If so can you give me the correct syntax to use : ex remove huisje
Thanks
Dirk
To delete the terms you will need to go to the backend to do it. If you go to the post type that the taxonomy is attached to and go to the taxonomy from the backend menu then you will see the table listing the terms.
I don't find the way to do it .
You mention If you go to the post type that the taxonomy is attached to " and "go to the taxonomy from the backend menu then you will see the table listing the terms.
Either I go to the back-end of the post -type or I go to the taxonomy itself . How can I do both at the same time ?
I've attached screenshot of the back-end of the post type Hotels and from the Taxonomy Hotel Category (where some labels need to be deleted )
If you go to your wordpress backend and hover over Hotels, you will see the hotel categories taxonomy. Click this and it will take you to the categories where you can delete the individual categories that you don't need anymore.
