Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I assume that your view or archive uses AJAX, right? If yes, check if the option Enable history management setttings for AJAX custom search is activated in Toolset->Settings->Front-end Content->Browser history management
hidden link

Otherwise, please provide more details about your page. I'd also like to check it closely. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

Hi Jamal,
if I set "Refresh view results without reloading the page" it doesn't work.
if I set "Reload the page to refresh the view results" it works

Why?

#1815927

Most probably because you did not activate browser history management for AJAX calls hidden link

#1815943

I tried now. The flag is active into browser history.
If is possible i send you the access to site

Yes, please, and let me know where in the frontend I can see this issue? What view? What URL?

From what I can gather so far, this may be caused by a 3rd party plugin or a server issue. For that reason, I would like to take a copy of your website and analyze it locally and on our platform to see if the same issue will be reproduced.

Would you be OK to install the Duplicator plugin and take a copy of your website?

#1816665

Yes!

#1818013

Unfortunately, I was not able to take a Duplicator copy. I get a timeout error, check this screenshot hidden link

I would try to take a copy with a different plugin(UpdraftPlus, All In One Migration), but first, I'd like to ask how do you implement the password on the archive page. This one hidden link

How can I disable it during testing, or locally if I took a copy of your website?

I believe that this changes the URL of the page when we try to return back. Please let me know how to disable it?

Hi,
for disabling login simple disabling the plugin "PrivateContent - Bundle Pack".
I try with this plugin disabled but it doesn't work.

#1822275

Thank you for your feedback. I am taking now an All In One Migration export and I'll check it locally then get back to you

It turns out that this issue is at least caused by the theme(or its required plugins XCore and Raven). If I switch to a default theme, such as TwentyTwenty, and even if I activated the PrivateContent plugins, the URL is updated dynamically when an AJAX search is complete, and that ensures that the back button with return the visitor to the filtered results in the view instead of a non-filtered view.

This can be a general compatibility issue between the Jupiter X theme and Toolset or an exception that only appears on your website.

Before I can be able to escalate this to our 2nd Tier, we'll need to check if this is not a general compatibility issue. For that reason, I have created a new installation on our platform and I'd like your help to check it. Please use the following link to log into our test site hidden link
Then, install the JupiterX theme and its required plugins.
Then, create a custom post type, some posts, a view, and add the view to a page. Check then if the issue will be reproduced or not.

Hi,
i created the page to this link
hidden link

If i set "Update the Views results without reloading the page" the reload doesen't work.
if i set "Reload the page to update the View results" the reload works.

#1825903

I checked the view and I can't reproduce the issue, even when using "Update the Views results without reloading the page" because you were setting the option to not update the URL. Check this screenshot hidden link

This turned out to be the same issue on your website. I updated the setting and now the view works as expected. We can use the back button and return to the last search results.

Ok, so to have the functionality (reload data on back from page) I have to leave the search URLs visible?
In case I hide them it doesn't work, is it right?
