[Resolved] Registration for multisite with different domain mapping

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The problem here is that the user had an issue registering their multisite installation and was wondering if each domain will need to be registered separately.

Solution:
Registering a multisite will only require one key since it is essentially a single set of plugins and a single wordpress install.

However the registration must be done using the Root domain.

Hi
When evaluating to buy Toolset I asked whether I needed more than one registration when using a multisite setup. (https://toolset.com/forums/topic/toolset-on-multisie/?key=QCt0c11zqkIn). I was told I only needed one.

I have helenagwyn.blog, helenagwyn.com and helenagwyn.shop (and helenagwyn.academy in the future). They all reside under one mutlisite. From what I see now, it needs a registration per TLD which suddenly becomes very expensive for me.

Hi Helena,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Registering a multisite will only require one key since it is essentially a single set of plugins and a single wordpress install.

However the registration must be done using the Root domain. Is the issue that your key is not being accepted by the registration option on the plugins ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

Thank you, registering on the root solved it.
