[Resolved] Registration disappear

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The issue here is that the user is having issues registering his plugins and is getting the error cURL error 35: error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure

Solution:
The issue here is with the server using an outdated curl version.

I would suggest contacting your hosting provider and ask them to update you to the latest version of PHP and Curl.

Hi

Following an issue in updating the Toolset plugin my registration disappear.
Your team check and discover that we need to update the server to make this update. This will take time before doing it.
Could you please restore our registrated version ? When typing my licence this is not working.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards

Hi Shane,

Again, the server has not been updated as it is not in our hands and we need more time to find someone able to do it.
In the meantime, we would like to be registered as before your services take hands on to check why th update was not possible.
Here is the error message I have in regenerating the key.

Hi Fabrice,

Could you check with your hosting provider if their server supports TLS 1.2 ?

Thanks,

Hi Fabrice,

Based on what i'm reading on this issue it seems to be coming from the Mod_SSL module.

What you can do is to enable it on the server by trying the instructions below.

I can’t do that.
It was working before I asked you why I can’t Make the updates. We will change the server in a few weeks but in the meantime I need to get back my registrated version to be able to work. That’s all I need for the moment...

Hi Fabrice,

The registration key is only needed for the automatic updates. This won't prevent you from doing any work on the site.

You can try re-registering the plugin when the server switch.

The error is what is preventing the registration key to be validating with our servers.

Thanks,
Shane
