Currently I am restricting front end content using access.
When an unauthorized user tries to access the content by direct URL, they get a 404 page.

How can I change that behaviour so that it redirects them to a login page or a page of my choosing instead?

Thank you,

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately you're not able to redirect to a specific page however you can redirect them to a specific page template.

Take a look at the link below.
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/setting-access-control/

Scroll to the section that says "Choosing what to Display When Read Access is Denied"

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

This sounds like what I am looking for. Where can I edit the page template?

Hi Adrian,

The Template Layout can be used if you have Layouts installed because you can create a custom template for this.

Thanks,
Shane
