I am trying to: update plugins

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: no problem, like a dozen or more other sites running Beaver Builder with Toolset

Instead, I got:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_doing_ajax() in /home/vangua98/public_html/ibolt.com/wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/toolset/toolset-common/user-editors/editor/screen/beaver/frontend.php on line 18

I have never had conflicts with Beaver Builder and Toolset before. I am worried as this entire site is dependent on the two - I use BB for all my site construction and layout, and Toolset is running my custom Programs and Courses section for this Online Education website. I needed the custom ability and relationships function.

If I disable the plugins via FTP, i am able to get back into the WP dashboard.
I have even removed the plugins, then re-installed them, and eventually i get the error again.
I have also removed the function that is stated in the error message, and at first it worked, I was able to get back to the plugins page. But after a couple of changes, the error returned, with the same message, even though I had removed it.

Hoping you can help. I can't get the debug info as I can't get Toolset plugins active anymore.

also i can grant access to the WP dashboard, but don't have access to FTP credentials right now.

Hi Glen,

Would it be possible to just provide a copy of the site instead?

The private fields have been enabled so that you can provide the copy.

i can't seem to add any new plugins without errors. i have a back up from All in One WP Migration only, i can't add Duplicator at the moment.

Hi Glen,

The all in one backup would work fine as well.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Glen,

I've taken a look at this for you.

The error seems to not be there on the backup. Is it still there for you ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

well, i left this over the weekend - saw your message, went back and logged in - clicked "activate" on the Views plugin (the Types plugin had been activated already) - and it activated without error messages! normally at that stage i received the fatal error string.

So i am going to try to activate a new plugin, as the error was coming up during any plugin activity while the Types/Views plugins were active.

so i'm not convinced its totally fixed but it seems to have gone away, if that makes sense.

thank you.
