Tell us what you are trying to do? I want to be able to transfer custom posts set up through Cred from one user to another
I have set up a number of posts under my admin role. I now need to transfer them to other members for them to edit etc. Is there a way to do this? Firstly, how do I set up the new members without triggering an email being sent to them and secondly how do I transfer the post to their membership?
What you need to do is to check your cpt and ensure that Author is enabled. See Screenshot
This can be found in the CPT settings.
Next you need to go to the post you want to change the author for and then in the top right hand corner you will see screen option, click that and check authors.
From here you should now see the author dropdown appearing.
That's great for re-allocating the posts to a different author.
I need to know how to re-allocate it to a member/ subscriber. I can add them via the WP user section but it doesn't then appear in the author drop-down on the post.
