Tell us what you are trying to do? create custom fields, which said they were created, but didn't show up in the custom post. Deleted everything and started again, but now its saying the fields exist but i Can't see them.

Is there any documentation that you are following? Following your online tutorial

Is there a similar example that we can see? No, first time I'm using it

What is the link to your site? hidden link
But I haven't managed to create anything on Toolset to post in the first place

Hi Darry,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site so that I can have a quick look to see whats happening here ?

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Darryl,

Can you send me the login URL to the login page so that I can quickly log in to check.

Thanks,
Shane

Sorry Shane, I just go to wordpress login hidden link and it signs me in.
Not sure how else to do it, unless you provide me with an email address and an automated message will go to you from the id setup.

Any joy, have you managed to sign in?

Hi Darryl,

When I tried to log in with the credentials that you provided it doesn't.

Are you able to create a username and password for me on that site that is hosted on wordpress.com ?

You can setup the account using shane.c@onthegosystems.com

Thanks,
Shane

Let me know if you have any problems getting in

Hi Darryl,

I'm still having issues getting onto the site. When it redirects to the wordpress login screen it tells me that the username doesn't exist.

Is this site hosted on wordpress.org ? or is it a plugin that you are using to use the wordpress.org login ?

Failing this can you record a short video of the steps you took to create the custom fields so that I can see what has been done ?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Not sure why you are unable to sign in. IT's on WordPress.com, not org, and is a prt of wordpress, not a plugin, if that makes any difference.
I'm sorry I can't help you out with this.
I was thinking that I would delete Toolset complete;y, especially as I have not yet been able to create anything constructive with it as yet, even the products and reinstall it to see if that makes a difference. If it doeesn't, I hope you would ensure that I am refunded for the product, as this seems to just be going around in circles, as I thought my original explanation was sufficient and this is time I can ill afford.

Please let me know if deleting the whole product and reinstalling is a good course of action.

Hi Darryl,

I wouldn't recommend deleting the plugins and trying again.

Based on the nature of this issue it may either be a plugin conflict or a configuration issue. As you say you've created the fields but they are not showing up on the post.

What I should clarify if is it on the backend that the fields are not showing up ? Or is it on the frontend. Can you try creating a completely new set of fields and send me some screenshots of the process so that I can see what exactly is being done.

Also send me a screenshot of the post and position where you are expecting to see the fields.

Thanks,
Shane

Ill give that a try

Amother issue.....when I do a screen print, this chat thing only takes saved images, so how do I send them to you?

Hi Daryl,

What you can do is to upload the images to Google Drive or Dropbox and send the share links to me.

I sent the process in a word document to the email address you supplied
