Hi Leslee,

I must apologize for the delay. I'm having a bit of an issue creating a copy of your site.

Please give me some more time to get this done.

Thanks,
Shane

Ok no problem. If you are unable, I could create a staging site for you.

Hi Leslee,

Yes please create a staging site for me as i'm still unable to create the copy.

I've enabled the private fields again for this.

Thanks,
Shane

HI Leslee,

I created a copy of your Yarn page and created a search view with Toolset.

I'm assuming that you want this page to list out all the yarn products but with a search for the searchable attributes of the yarn products.

What I did here was to try and mirror the original search that you have. Please let me know if i have the concept right.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi there. Yes that is what I am looking for. But it does not look like the filters are working, other than the colour one, and I don't think it pulling all the data. That was my original question, is do I need to set up the taxonomy different that it currently is set up. Actually I think the current site is using attributes for the filter, that were uploaded when the products were uploaded.

Hi Leslee,

The reason why the taxonomies aren't showing up is because there aren't any taxonomy values to search for. See Both taxonomy pages below.

For Weight

For Material

However for color there are taxonomies

But none of these colors are assigned to your posts.

So you see unless there are values here that have been assigned to posts, you will only see empty filters.

Thanks,
Shane

Ok, is there a way to get attributes to be used as taxonomy? Trying to figure out how best to fix this situation and if it will even work on this site.

Hi Leslee,

Thank you for the additional information. I added the correct filters now that should pull the values from the product attribute.

Thanks,
Shane
