Any update on this yet ?

https://toolset.com/forums/topic/bug-in-access-version-2-4/

I'm using the current version of 2.4.1 and its fixed some but not all of the problem.

Individual CPT and Pages are now fine but all CPT in a view are still not visible. (Unless I give "View" access to guests in "POSTS")

This was not a problem before 2.4

Hi Jane,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I've checked our system and there hasn't been an update on this one, currently the only workaround is for allowing Access to determine the Permissions for POSTs.

Thanks,
Shane

I'm currently using another plugin that restricts access to just a few select pages and CPT for Guests (as a temporary fix).

But the problem is why should I be making changes to Access settings for POST's in order to fix Access settings to CPT's that have there own settings.

Also all my post's are for members only not Guests.
Only some pages and CPT's are for Guests.

Hi Jane,

I'm not exactly sure but this seems to be a bug in our system and our development team is working to resolve it.

This issue is not only related to guests but it affects the editing permissions of some user roles as well. The only workaround that the support team was able to come up with is for having access to manage the default POST CPT as well to help customer restore some functionality while the issue is investigated and a more permanent fix is provided by our development team.

Thanks,
Shane
