I am trying to:
My website is in French. I created a form allowing me to create new posts from the front end. When I add a new tag, the accented character is problematic. For example: blé becomes blu00e9
Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link
I expected to see:
blé
Instead, I got:
blu00e9

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Do the accents appear correctly on the backend?

Currently, the page redirects to the login form and I would like to see how it is built. Would you allow me temporary access as an admin to check this further. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

Thank you for the credentials. It seems that the issue happens probably when creating the form instead of when generating the tags. As you can see, the tag with an accent issue is assigned to the post hidden link

I browse the existing tags and I only located the tag "blu00e9" that appears to have this issue. There are other tags that have accents correctly. So, I'll suggest removing this erroneous tag.

On the other hand, I wonder if all tags were created using the Toolset form or if they were also created from the backend?

Where is this form used? I want to test it by creating a couple of posts with accents and see how that is saved.

To add a new recipe using the Toolset form.jpg

The problem occurs every time I create an accented tag using the form. It happened with végétarien. The reason why you see accented tags is because I created them manually to correct the problem. The form still generates erroneous tags. Try using the form to add a recipe. See attached for instructions.

I could not reproduce it from my side, maybe I am missing something.

I created a private page to test the form hidden link
I was able to create a new post with two new fake-tags, and I reused one existing tab without issues hidden link

I don't know what is it that we are doing differently. Can you try again from your side, maybe you can tell me what steps to do to reproduce this issue.

Strangely enough, I can't reproduce the problem either. I created one recipe using my PC and another with my iPad. I guess you can close the ticket.
