I made two CPTs (i) cities and (ii) listings they both have one to many relationship. In listings, I added custom field "city". This is "post reference" field. I works ok in the backend. At the time of adding new listing, it gives drop down of available cities and applicable city can be selected. ok.
While designing content template for single listing page, the "city" field is not available in the drop down of "custom fields" in the listing field group.
These steps are available:
I select single field >>> Post source (relationship) Parent: City (cities listing) >>>
So far ok.
But for the next step i.e. "Customs Field Group", no relationship group is available. Only option is "Other field" . If this option is selected then next option gives the list of irrelevant fields...

If you have one to many post relationship between the post type CPTs (i) cities and (ii) listings I wonder why you added the another field city as post reference field?
You should connect the related listing with your desired city post using the post relationship box available on your edit listing post at bottom of the page.
