We had an older version of Toolset (free) that another developer set up. When the admin would get Print Post article, once she approved it she would "Duplicate Print Story to Post" and the author would stay the same. At some point the author started changing to the admin's name. We thought to purchase a license to fix this and I set up a staging site to test the update, uploaded the new Toolset Types plugin and tried to replicate the same issue and the same issue exists. It changes the author every time.
I do not know much about this plugin. I am a contractor that is trying to assist in fixing this issue and my name is Kevin Watson and would like to be included on any correspondence at kev@itskev.com. I am currently accessing the Toolset account for my client, Hugh Davis.

First, I've edited your post to remove the site login details: this is a public support forum and we need to set up a private reply for you to share sensitive information.
This doesn't look like a Toolset issue, rather it appears to relate to the Post Duplication plugin (which is what is used to duplicate the Print Story posts).
I logged in to your staging site and checked the settings for that plugin (at Toolset > Post Duplication) and see that it is set to make the current user the author of duplicated posts, rather than retaining the Original Post Author (screenshot).
Change that setting and I expect it will fix your problem.
