This View only has one item and costs €34, yet, the Price Range slider has a range from €15 till €530 which is the absolute most expensive item in the shop. This makes no sense. Just like the 2 select boxes whose values are filtered according to the current archive, the price range slider should work the same way, from €0 to €34.

Hi there

What are the search settings for this custom archive? Is it to "Show only filter options that would produce results" or to show all possible values?

How have you implemented the Range slider as a filter control?

Hi Nigel,

Search settings are set to : AJAX results update when visitors change any filter values
The Range slider is set inside the Filter Control

From your view's "Custom Search Settings" section, can you please try to select:
- Let me choose individual settings manually => Update the View results every time an input changes and => Show only available options for each input

Does that helps?

Unfortunately, that does not help.
The max price is still not the max price for this view, but the max price of all the products in the shop.

Do you mean that when you select max price for example 1000 then you only want to display the posts whose price is equal to 1000?

I need to see how exactly you configure you filter as well as state what is your exact requirement, how you want the filter should filter the results?

I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Ok - when you add the product price range slider, it offers only two options as you can see with the following screenshot:
- hidden link

You can start the slider with option:
- Start with the minimum available price OR Start at zero

Your option is set to "Start with the minimum available" so it will start the slider minimum price with the minimum available price within all products.

There is no option to restrict the slider range to display within available results. You have a point and I've added your voice to our internal ticket but there is no ETA when the fix made available.

Yeah, I know you can set the minimum value and while that's great, when the cheapest products are like €15-20 then it doesn't matter if the slider starts at 0 or 15.
But the MAX value, that is something I really miss. Because 1/ it makes the range slider unnecessary long (0-530 instead of say 0-50) 2/ is can scare people away, as they might feel all the items in the shop are very expensive.

So please, give some weight/priority to this ticket, I am sure many customers would appreciate it.
