[Resolved] Prepopulate add new post form from existing post

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Prepopulate create post forms from an existing post.

Solution:
To prepopulate a form from another post, you will need to add the form using the shortcode instead of the Toolset form block. Using the shortcode you can pass the "template/model" post using the post attribute, where you pass the ID of the post. Something like:

[cred_form form="New Car" post="145"]

Hello and thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

To prepopulate a form from another post, you will need to add the form using the shortcode instead of the Toolset form block. Using the shortcode you can pass the "template/model" post using the post attribute, where you pass the ID of the post. Something like:

[cred_form form="New Car" post="145"]

Read more about the Forms shortcodes here https://toolset.com/documentation/programmer-reference/forms/cred-shortcodes/#cred_form

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
