Pre Sale Query on Toolset License

This support ticket is created 3 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,
I have a pre purchase query ,
After purchasing & completing of development work, if we have to change the domain name of our site then the license key for toolset will still work ?

Hello, each license key is linked to only one domain. If you initially register the software on a development site, you will need to create a new registration key for your production site once you move the domain and go live, and re-register the software on the live site. The original key will no longer work on the new domain. Without an updated license key, software updates will not be automatically fetched when new versions of Toolset are released, but the software will continue to function as expected otherwise.
