I have an Archive page here: hidden link

The content of the rows is built with beaver builder.
Search box and Search filter above

When page loads each field in the content is a LINK to the post.
When you filter either by search box 'try the word: baby' or Location the LINK in the posts is no longer working.

Thank you for assistance

Hello,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Could you send me a screenshot of your view template so that I can see how you set this up ?

Thanks,
Shane

I don't have a view in toolset.... It is an Archive page built Custom Queries from Toolset at the top Location / Area | Search for any keyword here
Below that is built with Beaver Builder which is made from one row with custom fields in it per custom post type.

My issue is that when you first go to the page if you hover your mouse over any row item the cursor changes to a hand and if you click you are taken to that specific post page. But if use the search criteria at all the cursor on hover no longer changes and you cannot click to go to the page.

Does that help?

Do you want a login?

Hello,

Actually when the search is performed I see that a view layout is being used.

This view layout doesn't have the link attached to the title.

The custom archive uses the loop output editor.

Would it be possible to gain access to the site to check on this for you ?

The private fields have been enabled.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,

Yes I was able to login successfully. I think the issue here is with the builder and the header cell that you are using.

Could you replace the header cell with an editor and then add the wpv-post-title shortcode to that editor and let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
Shane

I would love to do that. But unfortunately I do not understand what you mean... What is the header cell? what is 'an editor'

Can you just do it? It's only a development site so I dont mind if you make changes. If you get it to work I will hopefully understand what you meant?

otherwise send me more detailed instructions

thank you

Hello,

I went in and did this for you.

The post title link should now be working.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi - okay, I see what you've done. Thank you

What I had configured and why had used the header type modules in beaver builder was because I wanted every entry to link back to the post...
Is that still possible using the text modules instead?
do i have to manually add the html?

Hello,

So you're saying that you don't want each of the title to link back to their individual respective posts but you want it to link to a specific post ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

#1099642

Hi - no I'm saying I want every element of each row in the archive page to link to the respective post it belongs to. So exactly how you have the job title element, but also for the location and salary fields...

Sorry if it wasn't clear

#1099643

I'm just doing a theme change so ignore the fact it's gonna look different for a bit.

Hello,

Ok I see, Yes so what I did is the correct method to add the items to the output editor.

Are there any queries or anything you're not clear on ?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane
