Hi, I have added the post date to my custom view, but the format shows as 2020-10-21 05:06:15. How can I change this format? I have checked under WordPress general settings and this does not change.

Thanks!

Hi Mary,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Can you send me the shortcode that you are using to display the post date in the view? Or if not using a shortcode can you let me know if you're using the block editor?
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane, yes I'm using the block editor. I've added the date using a dynamic heading and selecting post source: current post and then source:post date

Hi Mary,

In stead of using the headings block you should use the single field block as this will give you the option to set your date format.

Thanks,
Shane
