Plugins will not update

This support ticket is created 5 years, 11 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am trying to: update the access, types and views plugins

I get this error message : The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

There is an issue in the Installer that shipped with Types 3.2.5 that affects some users, and in that case the only option is to manually update Types, after which the automatic updates should function correctly again.

Delete you current Types plugin (it will delete just the plugin files, not the settings)
Download latest Types from toolset.com/account/downloads
Upload that zip file on the Add new plugins page and activate.
