[Resolved] Plugin update throws an error

This support ticket is created 4 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Thank you for getting in touch.

Can you perform the update by going to Plugins -> Add New then click on the commercial tab.

From this screen you should be able to attempt to update the plugins again.

If the issue still remains, please manually update the plugin by downloading the plugin files from the link below.

The behavior of the error was rather strange.

1. On update the plugin threw the error.
2. To fill out the support ticket, I left the plugin list page, and went to Toolset -> Settings.
3. After the ticked was submitted, the plugin list no longer showed the error. Instead it showed the new version as current along with a message to install the new version.
4. When I followed the instructions in the support reply, that message went away.
