Hello,

I am having a problem with your plugin.

I have set up a test site and installed advanced custom fields and toolset types.

Here is what is happening:

I created a company. (Fiesta de Reyes) and select the categories I want it in. Then I save.

I create an area (Old Town). I have a section below called "companies" that popuplates the companies I created above. I click on them so they go into the field on the right and click save.

I go to my page:

In the dropdown, I can select "old town" which then portrays all companies in old town below it. So it works - Yeah!

However, if I edit any companies' (Fiesta de Reyes) categories (ie activities & recreation) within the post, and then save, the area page (old town) "removes" the companies so that now when I go to my page the dropdown is blank.

I have to go back into old town and edit the companies section - click on them so they go into the field on the right and click save. (you can leave this window open and refresh after making a change to the company and see it happen)

So every time I make changes to my site, this field is clearing all the companies.

Why? I have so many companies and areas in my main site that this is not an toption.

I cannot disable either plugin as they are set up to work with each other.

Here is my test site so you can see it in action:

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

As I understand you created custom post type with Toolset and custom fields with ACF and when you try to save the post in backend the value for ACF field is missing - is that correct?

- What if you disable the Types plugin and check with post type created with ACF - Do you see it wroking as expected?

Hi,

What you wrote is incorrect. All the fields are there. when I edit a category on a separate post, the section that I add my companies in resets to empty.

Please see my explanation above and please login to replicate it as it is easier to se than for me to explain. I cannot disable either plugin as the site was built with both working with each other. If I disable advanced custom fields there fields to create the post disappear and if I disable toolset I get invalid post type.

Can someone log into the site and see what is happening? Then perhaps you can determine which plugin is causing this major problem. This is a new issue. I have had the site working for 15 years.

also feel free to disable the plugin to see for yourself as this is a test site .

Also I paid for this plugin so do I get any additional support?

I do agree that it should be used to work until not and currently its broken.

The thing is that you are using ACF fields and I'm not sure how those fields are configured or how Toolset is involved here.

I better suggest you should get in touch with ACF support and check with them and if Toolset is invovled, please share and get all the details from them and I would be really happy to assist further.

I hope this makes sense.
