OTGS Installer won't stay activated on any of the sites it is installed on. This means the sites will not connect for updates to the Toolset plugins.

Is this a known issue? How can it be fixed?

Hi there,

I will answer this question before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

The OTGS Installer si needed for the first time. As soon as you have the Toolset Tyes or Blocks installed you will get notifications for new updates and you can update them using the steps below:

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add new > Commercial (tab)".
- Click the "Check for Updates" button.
- Update Toolset and its addons there.

Thanks.

So delete OTGS Installer once activated the first time?

Yes - can you please try that and go to your Plugins page and with Toolset Types plugin you will see the "Registered" link and you should click on that and it will offer you the page from where you can update Toolset plugins (if you already registered Toolset plugins).

So just to confirm, we don't need to go via "Registered" to update - updates can still happen like any other WordPress plugin?

Thanks.

Yes - Once you register the Site key you can do that just like normal plugin update on plugins page but its from commercials page you can update multiple plugins at a time and check the old and current version.
