[Resolved] Options seem to reset each time I try edit a cred form

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: When I try to edit a Form in wp-admin, the options are all reset to the defaults and I can't use the editor screen.

Solution: Typically this indicates a JavaScript error. In this case, there was a conflict with the Easy Category Icons plugin.

I am trying to edit an existing cred form (based on a custom post type).

The first time I create the form there is no problem. However when I open that form to edit it again, the post type options, and post status revert back to the default values (ie post and draft) even though I previously saved them with other values. This is just irritating as every time I edit thsi form I need to go back and fix these values.

May be an issue with a recent release as I previously did not have this problem

Now I cant even seem to find "save" button anymore.

Typically this indicates a JavaScript error is locking up the page. Clear your browser cache and reload the page first to confirm there's not something cached from an old version causing a conflict. If that doesn't solve the problem, open the browser console and watch for any JavaScript errors when the page loads. Copy + paste them in your reply for me to review. Also check the page source to confirm the page is complete, including a closing body and closing HTML tag. This should be checked in the page source, not the DOM inspector.

Follow the same troubleshooting steps from the other ticket if none of the steps above seem to indicate a problem:
- Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Types, Views and Forms. Activate a default theme like Twenty Seventeen, then test again.
- If the problem was resolved, reactivate your theme and plugins one by one until the problem returns
- If the problem was not resolved, I'll need to take a closer look.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

Indeed I had a plugin that seemed to cause the problem. (For your information it appears to have been the 'Easy category icons' plugin.)
