The Toolset plugin has been very useful for my current project. I am using a combination of Types and Cred to create an internal company portal with simple timesheet submission process. One suggestion for your team is the post form for child posts. In the "What to show after submitting the form:" adding an option to return to the parent posts would be most helpful. Thanks for your consideration.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion ticket. I can help you set this up in code using the Forms API and the Post Relationships API now, if you'd like. Please create a new "How-to" ticket for assistance with a custom redirect, and we will be glad to assist. Let us know the post relationship slugs, the post type slugs, and so forth. I will keep this feature request ticket open so Beda can respond to your suggestion.

Thank you so much for the recommendation. I have opened a new How-To ticket for the Forms API:

In Toolset Forms for relationships you have a setting for "Redirect back to the page from which the user came from".
That would solve the issue if you are leading to the form from the parent.

Otherwise, yes, the feature is missing and IMO makes sense but only on O2M relations.
Where to you want to redirect in a M2M?
There may be many many parents, hence, that will fail.

Hi Beda, this sounds awesome and exactly what I would want to use. The relationship in my use case is one-to-many which would be perfect. However, I do not see an option for "Redirect back to the page from which the user came from". In the form settings, the field "What to show after submitting the form:" shows the following:

Keep displaying this form
Display a message instead of this form
Display the post
Go to a specific post...
Go to a page...

I thought maybe it might be part of "Go to a specific post..." but that just gives me an option to select the post type and select 1 specific post. Is there another area in the settings to configure this?

As stated, that is part of the relationship forms and not post or user forms and hence, would be a feature to be added there, which is the purpose of this ticket.

I have added this as a request and we will eventually implement this, according several criteria that only a few people in Toolset have the overview of.

Currently it is not possible, in non-relationship forms.
