Hello,

Currently my page load speed is very bad:
At pagespeedinsights these are the current results:
- Desktop: Orange 82
- Mobile: Red 43

So far i've used GIMP to resize all images below 100kb, but that hasn't made a difference.

Is the WP-Rocket plugin a good option?
Do you have any other suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Sorry but you will have to check with the professionals but if you can share what page you would like to improve the speed I can take a look at it for a moment.

That would be great.

The Homepage is most important to check. load time is 2.12s

Have you tried any cashing plugin?

Have you tried to optimize anything using cache as suggested with the following link?
- https://toolset.com/documentation/legacy-features/views-plugin/how-to-use-views-parametric-search-on-large-sites/

Hi Minesh,

No i haven't tried any cashing plugin yet. That's what my questions is about, wich one you can recommend.

And yes i've tried optimizing using cache, however do to what my views are displaying caching doens't seem to be an option.

The advise pagespeed insights gives, are:

- Turn on text compressions (estimated savings 6,6 s)
- Delete sources that block displaying (estimated savings 4,57 s)
- Limit not-used css (estimated savings 3,6 s)
- Limit not-used JavaScript (estimated savings 2,7 s)
- Shorten the server first-reponse time (estimated savings 2,45 s)

However i have no idea how to achieve this, please advise us!

Well - the thing is that we do not have any any firm suggestion about how you can optimize your site its totally up to you.

- Turn on text compressions (estimated savings 6,6 s)
- Delete sources that block displaying (estimated savings 4,57 s)
===>
You should check with any optimization plugin. Please check the following article:
- hidden link

- Limit not-used css (estimated savings 3,6 s)
- Limit not-used JavaScript (estimated savings 2,7 s)
===>
If you want to remove the unwanted scripts or CSS, please check the following related ticket that may help you but you will have to decide what are the scripts that is not used:
=> https://toolset.com/forums/topic/struggling-to-dequeue-toolset-common-es-frontend-from-front-end/#post-2201363

- Shorten the server first-reponse time (estimated savings 2,45 s)
===>
This is something that is not controlled by us but the server, its server response time and you will have to check with your hosting authority if they have any solution for you.

Hey Minesh thanks forseggestions. So far installed WP-optimize. In general the speed was optimized a littlebit. However wasn't able to run all functions. With the minify option all the styling I had done was gone, so disabled the minify option. At the moment waiting for reply from their support hoping for a workaround.

For now i'll close this thread, so again thanks for you support!
