Hello,
I want to create a WordPress multisite with different domains (dutch) for a municipality with 7 villages.

Require:
1. One same calendar on multiple (7) sites, so same calendar embedded in each website.
2. Events being added by each website administrator to the calendar, i.e. multiple users
3. The option to filter events per village
4. Tag and assign categories to events

Can this be done with toolset?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

It is not possible to have the same calendar on all 7 websites as even if you install Toolset as a network plugin, each site will have its own database details to create posts and pages and those posts are not seen by the other website.

As the initial thing can not be done by Toolset I guess the other questions are not applicable.

I did a research to see if there is any sort of custom coding available and even in WordPress forums they say it is not possible:

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/create-custom-post-types-at-network-level-in-a-multisite/

But that is my spending some limited time searching, so I suggest that you continue searching for an alternative.

I can confirm that Toolset can not do such a thing.
